THE BIG EXPERIENCE OF THE TUSCAN LEATHER MASTERS

Leather is the main material of the artistic expression of the Artisna Masters. Thanks to their great experience, they produce articles in which the Tuscan artisan culture combines with the innovating and functional one of nowadays.
Their classic items or reinvented in their shapes, mantain the warmth of this ductile material, recalling the old manufactures.

Using skins selectioned with care, for example calfskin, tanned with vegetable substances suc as bark and called typically "tuscan cowhide", allows to diversify the production and to make unique and exclusive works, designed for few connoisseurs.


Each necessary operation for the creation of the manufact, like the design, the choice and the cut of the skins, the assembly and the sewing with cotton or hemp threads until the finished product, are carried out in the "Bottega Artigiana" (artisan workshop), where all the precious works are made following specific requests. Because of this, they are highly personalized in sizes, colours and finish.

The suitcases and other objects made by the Master Mr. Varetto Boldrini reflect the age-long Tuscan tradition with the use of chosen materials and manual techniques. his make each work unique in its kind.

THE LEATHER
Only the best product is transformed by italian tanneries in leather and its quality has made our artisan tradion famous. A leather that, tanned with a natural process in woodden barrels with plant extracts and barks, like chestnut or acacia tannin etc., gets its typical smell and touch.

The age-long tradition in search of an elegant, exclusive and qualified product is always accompanied by the guaranteee of genuinity, important for our clientèle: this type of tanning, totally natural, excludes the presence of substances considered noxious suc as hexachromium, pentachlorophenol, formaldehyde, etc.

All this process is carried away without altering the peculiar and unrepepeatable propertierscof leather, unique and natural material, with its fibrous tridimensional structure finely interlaced that gradually absorbes the vegetable extracts, keeping during the years the initial characteristics of comfort, solidity and resistance.
